Pop these aromatherapy tablets on the shower floor and suddenly you’re in a proper steam room, enjoying the cooling and and muscle-soothing benefits of essential oils as you wash. Eucalyptus oils cool senses and open breathing passages.
A pack of six is about six weeks if you save them for the mornings that need it, and about one week if you do not. Eucalyptus is the one to reach for during allergy season, at the front end of a cold, or after a long run when your chest is tight and a hot shower is the only plan you have.
No bath required, which is most of the appeal. Nearly everything else in this category assumes a tub, and this works in a standard shower stall.
- To Use: place a tablet on your shower floor, away from a heavy water stream. Make it last by keeping it from being submerged. Use hot water for the best results.
